Hot Topics 2015

Try as I might, I could not get these as a banner across the top for my last pre-institute blog. But I was happy to have been able to grab  images posted by some participating  in this weeks session. That is a newly learned skill!
Even though we have yet to meet, I have learned so much from you all. I thank you for pouring your hearts and soul into the responses to all of our challenges. You have moved me from feeling completely inadequate to having a sense of hope. I am not the only one who needs to know more about Freedom of Speech, how to write a good headline, how to make video part of the experience, where to find sources, what to do with stories. Because you are all willing to share, this experience will change the way I teach Journalism forever.
I look forward to seeing you all in a few hours.
